【摘要】:TheCommonTerminologySpecification(CTS)specificationdefinesasetofplatforms-andimplementation-neutralApplicationProgrammingInterface(API)callsthatareusedtoaccessterminologycontentfortheHL7Version3programmingenvironment.Thespecificationdefinescommonmechanismstoaccessdisparateterminologicalcontentinaconsistent,reproduciblefashion.SoftwareclientsthathavebeenprogrammedusingthisAPIwillbeabletoaccessanycompliantback-endservicewithoutrequiringknowledgeoftheunderlyingdatastructuresandlow-levelaccessmechanisms.Similarly,servicesthatimplementthisAPImaybeutilizedbyanycompliantclient.TheCTSspecificationdefinestheinterfaceelementsinUnifiedModelingLanguage(UML),andtheactualAPIisspecifiedusingtheISO14750InterfaceDefinitionLanguage(IDL).
