【摘要】:Theconcentrationoftanninsinsolid,pasty,andpowderedextractsneedstobereducedtoanalyticalstrengthfortanninanalyses.4.2Vegetabletanninextractsareheterogeneousmixturesofcomponentswithvaryingsolubility.4.3Thesolubilityofsuchextractsisinfluencedbytemperatureandconcentration,whichaffectthedegreeofdispersionandsizeofthecomponentparticles.4.4Sinceextractshavegreatersolubilityinhotwaterthancold,itisdesirabletodissolveanddisperseanextractinhotwaterandthenletthesolutioncoolslowlytostandardroomtemperature.Itisoftendifficulttoreducesamplesofsolidandparticularlypastyextractstospecimensizeandatthesametimeensurerepresentativesampling.Therefore,cautionisadvisedindrawingconclusionsontheprecisionandbiasoftheresultsobtainedonsuchextracts;wheredifficultiesinsamplepreparationareexperienced,littleconfidencecanbeplacedintheresults.1.1Thispracticecoversastandardprocedureforuseinpreparingtheanalyticalsolutionrequiredfortheanalysisofsolid,pasty,orpowderedvegetabletanninextracts.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
