【摘要】:Theprocedureisintendedprimarilytoevaluategarment-typeleathers.Thetestmethodisqualitativeandmeasuresthesurface-waterrepellencyorsurface-waterresistanceonly.Itisnotintendedforuseindeterminingresistancetowaterpenetration.Avisualmeansisgiventoevaluatetherelativeeffectsofmaterialsshowingwaterrepellency,butnocomparisonispossiblewithconditionsfoundinactualuse.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequalitativeevaluationofthesurfacerepellencytowaterofgarment-typeleathers.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesshowninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
