【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverheatingappliancesratedat600VorlessforuseinunclassifiedlocationsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC),ANSI/NFPA70.TheserequirementsdonotcoverelectricheatingequipmentorappliancesthatarecoveredbyindividualrequirementsthatareseparatefromthisStandard.ForthepurposesofthisStandard,aheatingapplianceisdefinedasanelectricallyenergizedproductthatdirectlyorindirectlygeneratesheattoperformitsintendedfunction.Theserequirementsalsocoverelectricallyenergizedproductsthatgeneratesteamforotherthanspaceheatingpurposesandhaveanelectricalpowerratingof15kWorlesspersteamgeneratingvessel.Steamgeneratingproductsofthetypedescribedinhavinganelectricalinputpowerratingofmorethan15kWpersteamgeneratingvesselaretobeevaluatedbytherequirementsintheStandardforHeating,WaterSupply,andPowerBoilers-Electric,UL834.Eachsteamgeneratingvesselinamulti-vesselunitshallcomplywiththeserequirements.Theunitshallalsobeprovidedwiththemarkingin47.37.
